Responsibilities & Scope of work Responsible for shaping and executing our AI and Engineering strategy, ensuring the development and implementation of new and innovative solutions that drive our business forward Involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming and ideation to production launch and ongoing development Lead efforts to optimize engineering solutions for scalability, performance, and reliability. Ensure the security of our data, APIs, and services by maintaining best security practices in specifications and implementations. Oversee the certification process surrounding SOC 2, HITRUST, and HIPAA compliance. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, emphasizing our Career Karma values in day-to-day interactions. Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team of AI engineers, backend and full stack engineers to create a leading AI Builder & API. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance applications. Act as a thought leader within Career Karma and the broader AI industry, contributing to technical blogs, conferences, and community engagement Ability to balance being strategic and seeing the big picture with the details and work on day-to-day tasks Collaborate and partner with the Career Karma leadership team to enable the success of our business and team. Requirements & What They Bring Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing AI initiatives, generative AI products, machine learning, and data engineering.
