The primary focus of this role is to engage with all regions to consolidate demand and evaluate global negotiations to leverage the company's global volume. A key challenge of this position is to effectively consolidate volume from diverse regions and define and elaborate the contracting scope together with stakeholders, providing full support as necessary.ResponsibilitiesDemand Consolidation:- Engage with regional procurement teams to gather and consolidate demand across all regions.- Develop and implement strategies to standardize procurement processes and requirements globally.- Analyze regional procurement data to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings.- Address the challenges of consolidating volume from diverse regions by understanding local needs and constraints.Global Negotiations:- Lead global negotiations with suppliers to leverage the company's global volume.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.Category Management:- Manage procurement activities for key categories including Facility Services, Meal Services, HR Benefits, Uniforms, PPE, Consultancy Services, Professional Services, and General Services.- Develop and execute category strategies to achieve cost savings and improve service levels.- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure competitive advantage.Stakeholder Engagement:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.- Define and elaborate the contracting scope together with stakeholders, ensuring all requirements are met.- Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market conditions.- Act as a point of contact for regional procurement teams and provide guidance and support as needed.Process Improvement:- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.- Utilize procurement tools and systems to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.Support and Guidance:- Provide full support to regional teams and stakeholders during the contracting process.- Offer training and resources to ensure understanding and compliance with global procurement strategies.- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the procurement process and work towards effective solutions.RequirementsEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
