Sales Application Specialist

The role involves close cooperation with DM to define strategic guidelines and get approval to implement business strategy in the market.
SAS will focus on successfully promoting applications and training to ED customers.
The role also requires collaboration in market prospection and identifying new opportunities to help sell the existing and growing portfolio. Additionally, the position is responsible for supporting existing business through regular communication with customers.
The candidate should contribute to the company's business development, reporting to DM, collecting market data, identifying opportunities for new products, and reporting all market information obtained through prospection or other channels, such as congresses, meetings, and conferences.
Support the implementation of business policy over a territory and help manage respective customers and accounts, which will be an overall SAS role.
This position requires developing strong professional relationships with customers, strong communication skills, and strong presentation capabilities.
Key Accountabilities Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics, acts with professionalism and deontology, and ensures familiarity with our Quality System and following relevant procedures.
Promote applications and training to ED customers regarding new or existing products to maintain high performance standards and customer satisfaction.
Manage the relationship between the company and KDM and KOLs, establish and maintain relationships with the customer's management structure, and apply the business strategy defined for each business line.
Focus actions on Value Selling, knowing our product specifications and their impact on customer health economics, and be responsible for the profitability of the accounts regarding consumables business.
Maintain a current and in-depth knowledge of all products in the range, ensure compliance with agreements and service levels with customers, and that MC products are used to the best performance level.
In conjunction with KAM, TSS, and FSE, ensure that new systems are installed efficiently and brought into routine use as quickly as possible; gather relevant information about customer needs, utilize it, and report it with the appropriate tools; provide troubleshooting support to customers on request and prepare and perform commercial and clinical/technical presentations upon request.
Know the product specifications and their impact on customer health economics, provide a sales forecast to year-end at each Sales Meeting, and be able to give an in-depth review of each account on the presented forecast.
Be aware of and report on competitive activities/strategies, understand the views of users and non-users on our products and their future product wishes; attend regional, national, and international meetings if/when requested.
Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision-makers, especially clinical customers including Key Opinion Leaders, and report immediately and accurately all customer or product-related events (e.g., customer feedback, product complaints, legal issues, and risks).
Carry out all administrative duties and necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner (i.e., help to answer public tenders, stock reports, stock movements, market analysis, etc.).

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position: Bachelor's Degree (preferably Engineering in Biomedical or similar)
1 year experience in a clinical or sales healthcare environment; selling or supporting products in the healthcare industry
Previous work experience in the medical devices business is valued
Demonstrated experience and a track record of success in support of medical devices products will be a plus
Knowledge of main areas of ED business
Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is a must, Spanish is a plus
Skills & Capabilities: Knowledge of the medical devices market with preferable understanding of Critical Care Areas, namely ICUs and ORs and Ultrasound
