**Le Wagon is a global leader in immersive tech training.** Our mission is to train people from all backgrounds in coding, data and product skills, give them the best learning experience of their life, and help them accelerate their career.

Founded in Paris in 2013, Le Wagon has now campuses in 40+ cities across 25 countries and** **a** community of 20,000+ graduates from all walks of life**, including career changers, digital nomads and many entrepreneurs (with over $800M raised).

In order to realise our global ambitions, we are looking for an **entrepreneurial General Manage**r to lead our expansion in Southern **Europe** (Portugal, Spain and Italy).

Reporting directly to the C-Team and supported by a regional and local experts, the General Manager is responsible for **growing the business, leading the region's teams and managing a sustainable operation.**

*** Responsibilities***:
**A. **Grow the Southern Europe business**
- Define the **business strategy and OKRs** in line with the global vision
- Identify **growth levers** and implement plans to activate them
- Lead the potential **opening of new campus** and **launch of new courses**:

- Form **strategic partnerships **with clear added value (eg. funding)
- Uphold **student satisfaction** across all programmes and locations

**B. **Lead the Southern Europe team**
- Manage the** regional experts** (Marketing, Admissions, Ops, Careers)
- Monitor and coach the **City Managers and teams** (currently in 4 cities)
- Coordinate **recruitment **from job posting to onboarding
- Set **individual **objectives** and coordinate** performance reviews**:

- Share **key updates and best practices** to empower your team

**C. **Manage the Southern Europe operation ️**
- Provide the C-Team with all **performance,** **financial and legal reporting**:

- Guarantee a healthy **financial planning** (eg. forecasts, BPs, cash flows)
- Execute the **accounting processes** (eg. invoicing, payments, closures)
- Ensure our **legal and tax compliance **and manage all **local contracts**:

- Manage all **HR topics** (eg. contracts, promotions, packages, payroll)

**About You**:

- You are **based in one of our cities** (Lisbon, Porto, Madrid or Barcelona)
- You have **8+ years leading teams**, namely in a start/scale-up setting
- You have **experience growing a B2C business**, B2B/B2G is a plus
- You have a **strong network in Southern Europe's** tech scene
- You are **passionate about tech and education**, and a lifelong learner
- You are a **clear communicator,** with exceptional English skills
- You are **entrepreneurial and collaborative**, and enjoy coaching
- You are an **analytical problem-solver**, able to deliver actionable plans
- You have **project management skills** and have a real drive for results
- You are **structured and meticulous**, with experience in finance/admin
