**Job Purpose**:
**As a Finance Analyst, you are responsible for the oversight and management of several Finance activities, ensuring the execution of day to day financial operations at MoonLake.**

**Key accountabilities**:

- Perform robust financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes across the company
- Conduct a variety of finance operations including payment reconciliation, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved; manage payroll operations to guarantee precise and punctual employee compensation; and oversee expenses management to monitor and control corporate spending efficiently
- Conduct thorough financial controls testing to maintain the integrity and reliability of financial data.
- Develop and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Identify financial risks and issues, proactively addressing them and reporting findings to the relevant stakeholders
- Support the finance department with the creation of detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
- Provide regular updates and communicate progress on financial activities to the Senior Manager of Finance and if needed to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

**Your profile**:
**Education**:Bachelor or master's degree in management, economics, finance or accounting
**Experience**:1+ year of work experience

**Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies**:

- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Highly organized, able to prioritize work, perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Independent, self-starter with a proactive, problem solving approach
- Ability to work in a flexible, collaborative style with colleagues and teams within the company and with external advisors including consultants

**Work Location**:

- 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
