**Job Purpose**:
**The Senior Finance Analyst, is responsible for the oversight and management of several Finance activities, ensuring the execution and improvement of day to day financial operations at Moonlake.**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead and manage internal finance strategic projects to align with business objectives.
- Perform robust financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes across the company.
- Conduct thorough financial controls testing to maintain the integrity and reliability of financial data.
- Develop and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Identify financial risks and issues, proactively addressing them and reporting findings to the relevant stakeholders.
- Support the finance department with the creation of detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
- Provide regular updates and communicate progress on financial activities to the Senior Manager of Finance and to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

**Your profile**:
**Education**:Bachelor and master's degree in management, economics, finance or engineering
**Experience**:2+ years of experience in Project Management / Finance / Engineering.

**Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies**:

- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Highly organized, able to prioritize work, perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Independent, self-starter with a proactive, problem solving approach
- Ability to work in a flexible, collaborative style with colleagues and teams within the company and with external advisors including consultants.
- Proven leadership skills, capable of motivating teams, driving goals, and managing conflicts effectively.

**Work Location**:

- 2 days a week in our brand new Porto Office
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK or Portugal to be considered for this position
