**The Role?**

The Operations Finance Business Partner will provide financial analysis and support for plant operations for our EIMEA Region manufacturing plant. This is a critical role in finance with responsibility and involvement across a broad range of financial and management areas.

**What will YOU do?**

**50% Operations Analysis and Support**
- Provide value-added analysis of the details and provide summary level information to allow the Operations leadership teams to make informed and prudent business decisions to improve the financial performance of the business unit
- Deliver comprehensive analysis of the financial results of the plant following each reporting period to provide clarity about the status of the operations (what is going well, what is not going well, and why); comparisons relative to budget, prior year, forecast and previous period as appropriate
- Understand the impact of unusual items that skew the interpretation of the true financial performance
- Provide clear and concise conclusions of the financial review
- Optimize financial results by proactively monitoring key trends and metrics and providing value-added analysis to improve performance
- Provide data analysis for plant leadership team to assist in determining the root causes for metrics that are not meeting plan; collaborate with the leadership team to develop detailed countermeasures
- Provide financial modeling support for all productivity initiatives and cost reductions and assist in the interpretation of their impact to the P&L
- Develop financial models for specific situations and purposes to provide support for decision making

**35% Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning Support**
- Evaluate operations performance to ensure consistency with business unit long-term strategic plan and the overall corporate strategy. Identify and implement process efficiency opportunities
- Evaluate and provide analysis on the financial impact of capital expenditures. Provide guidance on best course of action amongst the options available.
- Collaborate with the plant leadership teams to develop a quarterly financial forecast & annual budget for plant operations; focus on outlook accuracy and determining the most likely scenario
- Ensure team understands where and how the plant is expected to improve, commit to hold self (along with plant manager) accountable to deliver the budget commitment.
- Provide regular reviews of all critical initiatives that support achievement of the budget

**15% Day to day plant financial operations**
- Partner with plant leaders to ensure an understanding of the financial impact of transactional activities and promote adherence to transactional discipline
- Identify root cause for any persistent variances and help design and implement needed process improvements
- Ensure that all Financial Statements give a true and fair view of facilities costs
- Ensure understanding and compliance of HBF policies across the team and with relevant stakeholders
- Develop and ensure delivery of required management reports (e.g. monthly outlooks, budgets) to support Business Management

**Minimum Requirements**:

- BA or BS degree required with strong background in finance/business management discipline.
