**About the job**
- Located within the RISK function, RISK ORM CIB (Operational Risk Management) oversees the permanent control system, ensuring that it meets the standards defined by the Group, and that operational risk management is adapted to CIB’s risk appetite
- RISK ORM CIB prepares and analyses a Front to End consolidated view of operational risk in order to contribute to the reduction of operational risk and meet regulatory requirements
- RISK ORM CIB also contributes to the dissemination of the operational risk culture within CIB
- RISK ORM CIB is present in the 3 CIB regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas) and has more than 200 employees
- The RISK ORM CIB Portugal Risk Management team is acting as the 2nd Line of Defence for all CIB activities carried out in the territory (both local booking and outsourced activities), and 2nd LoD coordinator for non CIB activities, with the key role to provide relevant RISK and senior management transparent, exhaustive, and consistent front to back view of Operational RISK across Portugal activities (local and outsourced)

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Manage 5 teams and Team Leaders of CIB Operational Risk Officers (OROs)
- Ensure support to the Team Leaders and sustainable development of their activities and scopes
- Contribute actively to the Group transformation strategy objectives
- Actively contribute to the transformation of the risk management model in Portugal to continue the alignment with onshore BLs and reinforce the territory view with LoD1 reorganisation
- Assist and advise CIB management on taking decisions with OR impacts (e.g. NAC),
- Challenge CIB 1st Line of Defence on risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigations (incl. remediation or effectiveness of controls), risk transfer
- Contribute to CIB OR watch liaising with and animating RISK ORM CIB OR Stakeholder Network
- Assist and advise CIB Businesses on «expertise» risks in connection with RISK ORM ICT / TPRM / Anti-Fraud / Resilience / Data Protection, OR capital and regulatory matters in connection with RISK ERA & RISK Anticipation
- Ensure (i) the consistent extension of the Group and CIB OR policies, guidelines and procedures across CIB activities, and (ii) the correct implementation and animation of CIB OR governance. RISK ORM CIB Portugal contributes to the BNP Paribas Portugal Branch Internal Control Committee (ICC) and Territory Internal Control Committee (TICC)
- Proactively disseminate OR culture (Group & CIB) within the regional community, contribute to LoD1 training, and develop a strong partnership with LoD1 key stakeholders
- Contribute to RISK ORM Group & CIB global initiatives (e.g. projects)
- Strongly rely on Lod2 controls team especially the ones run in Portugal COE. Implement a governance to ensure full cooperation between RM & servicing teams
- Animate and lead the teams

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Masters Degree in Finance
- At least 10 years of experience in Investment Banking
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral, is mandatory
- Knowledge in- In-depth CIB-metier, products and processes knowledge- Sensitivity and/or experience in operational risk- Regulatory requirements- Skills- Critical Thinking- Strong management skills- Analytical skills & synthesis ability- Strong interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation, influencing skills)#LI-Hybrid
