**About the team**:
Imagine working with the world’s best startups on a daily basis? From hardware and VR to advertising, ecommerce and analytics, our Startup Success team is right in the middle of a vast and vibrant startup community, ensuring a stellar experience before, during and after our events across the globe: Web Summit Lisbon, Rio and Qatar, and Collision in Toronto.

We act as dedicated points-of-contact for each and every startup, providing support, guidance and the keys to maximising their potential and business opportunities on offer; from exhibiting, to meeting investors and mentors, to pitching on stage and other highly curated and targeted events. In 2023, as a team, we will support 4000+ startups from around the world.

**What you'll achieve at Web Summit**:

- You’ll act as a point-of-contact to many of the world’s greatest and most innovative startups, fostering relationships and playing a key role in their event experience before, during and after.
- You’ll provide administrative support, collecting attendee information, producing event specific documentation and curating content prior to the event.
- You’ll work closely with our technical teams, providing regular feedback and improvement suggestions, ensuring all platforms and systems are working to the best of their ability.
- From start to finish you’ll be responsible for curating one of our highly sought after startup activations (PITCH, Mentor Hours etc), working with various teams to provide an exceptionally well organised event for all participants.
- You’ll liaise with our in-house event producers and designers, supporting event execution and activating stellar startup experience.
- You’ll produce weekly progress updates to plan and escalate any areas for improvement within your team.
- You’ll promote knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration, consistently driving innovation and process improvements across the startup programme.

**Who you are**:

- You’re a natural collaborator who excels as part of a multi-faceted team working towards delivering a stellar startup experience.
- You’re a confident and friendly person who loves helping people 121 and at scale, and you certainly don’t lack enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- You can juggle multiple projects at once, providing solutions and optimising workflows within and outside of your direct role.
- You’re a calm person and a problem-solver who thinks on your feet, reacts rapidly to situations, and prioritises workload in a pressurised environment.
- You have a love of both startups/tech and events and have the drive to work in a hard-working and amazingly dedicated team.
- You like to go above and beyond in delivering an exceptional experience to the people you deal with.

**Skills and abilities we're looking for**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong performance.
- Exceptional administrative skills and an ability to meet moving deadlines on multiple projects at a time. Imagine supporting 1000 startups a quarter
- Prior client/campaign management and/or solid customer support experience.
- Prior live event experience preferred.
- Ambition and an ability to work on own initiative to accomplish high volume tasks.
- Exceptional planning and scheduling skills with a sharp eye for detail.
