Key Account Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced **KeyAccount Manager** to grow solid relationships with new clients within Europe.
This new team member can be based in any European country and he/she will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing commercial relationships with current and potential clients. Our target clients are the trucking industry such as truck manufacturers, truck aftermarket parts distributors, trucks workshops and truck fleet owners.
**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Customer acquisition in Portugal and Europe.
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients.
- Addressing and resolving key clients’ complaints.
- Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
- Understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customised solutions, in cooperation with product development.
- Understanding and recording potential customer requirements regarding products and services
- Responsibility for key account sales
- Presentation of new products and services
- Planning of various marketing actions and events
- Development of new sales strategies
- Analyse and identify sales potential
- A minimum of five years of proven experience as key account management or similar in the trucking industry (Aftermarket or trucks OEM dealership)
- Bachelor's degree in sales or engineering.
- Ability to build rapport with key clients.
- Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Trucking industry knowledge and market analysis
- A valid working permit to live and work in the EU.
