As People & Culture Manager, you will be the guardian of the employee experience. We aim for all Valtechies to have a great time while working at Valtech and we count on you to make it even better On a more practical level, from defining a great onboarding process to creating HR policies, to being the go-to person on people-related matters, you will be involved in all areas of Human Resources. You will partner and work closely with different stakeholders, from Office to Talent Acquisition to Finance.
**What will you be doing?**
- Implementing and communicating People & Culture strategies to achieve the company's short and long-term business goals as well as monitoring and controlling its local execution;
- Develop local, regional, and Global HR strategies, policies, and practices;
- Analyze and keep up-to-date on HR trends and legislation, adapting them to our business context and culture;
- Manage and analyze engagement surveys;
- Designing and implementing local engagement initiatives;
- Keep track of personnel demographics and metrics across Valtech and make informed decisions to improve People services and processes;
- Drive the learning & development strategy and structure people management;
- Drive diversity & inclusion excellence;
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to analyze external compensation data, ensuring internal pay equity and competitiveness;
- Coordinate performance evaluations;
- Manage employee contracts, addendums, and terminations;
- Manage and process payroll;
- Manage office department;
- Manage Valtech partnerships with third parties for perks and benefits;
- Resolve and coordinate complex employee relations issues and address grievances;
- Ensure legal compliance and oversee the HR budget.
**What do we expect from you?**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, psychology, communications, or related field;
- Circa 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager in an IT/Tech international environment.
- Knowledge of the Portuguese Labour Law;
- Previous experience in payrolling;
- Experience coaching management in people skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both in English and Portuguese;
- Self-starter and proactive attitude.
