**Job Title**: Business Development Manager
**Salary**: up to €45,000.00 basic per annum + Uncapped Commission
**Location**:Based in our Lisbon office with some site-based travel
**Working Times**:Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
InstaVolt is a dynamic and innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) charging company dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation in Portugal. Currently the leading rapid EV charge point operator in the UK, we are expanding into Iberia. With a commitment to reliability, accessibility, and cutting-edge technology, we are expanding our presence to meet the growing demand for EV infrastructure across the region.
**Position Overview**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Business Development Manager to join the Portugal’s newest rapid charging EV company, helping to meet the Portugal’s net zero aims through the decarbonisation of transport in the country and help InstaVolt become Portugal’s number 1 rapid charging network
**What you’ll do**:
- Daily prospecting to develop a network of contacts, attracting new clients to meet company growth requirements
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels
- Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
- Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
- Driving engagement with client to ensure swift and efficient completion of leases
- Ensuring client understand the entire process and required to deploy chargers
- Preparing and executing tender opportunities
- Understand overall sales targets for the business and how they contribute to this
- Develop plan to deliver agreed sales targets including sales forecasts and financial projections
- Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
- Producing reports for management
- Create and maintain working relationships internally to ensure risks, issues and opportunities are managed effectively and swiftly.
- Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
**Required skills and knowledge**:

**Required experience**:
- Experiences in selling and growing accounts to meet business demand is critical. Being able to demonstrate experience and passion for a brand is an advantage
- Be able to seek new opportunities using tailorable approaches, whilst also being able to adapt to client requirements
- 5+ years in either business development or sales
- Experience with prioritising tasks accordingly to meet business requirements
- Proven experience working in a team and meeting deadlines
- Flexible style to work across multiple clients on a variety of levels
- The ability to manage numerous projects and still deliver the business objectives
- Self-motivated and able to hit the ground running in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Target driven and the ability to perform well under pressure
**Desirable Knowledge**
- Knowledge of the EV industry and or real estate industry is beneficial but not essential
