Therefore, we are currently looking for a:
**Sales and Marketing Lead (Director Level)**

This role is based in Lisbon.

**Purpose of the role**

Working closely with the Managing Director, as well as with the local leadership team of the subsidiary and international Organon stakeholders, this function is responsible for designing the whole portfolio (Established Brands, Women’s Health & Biosimilars) strategy of the subsidiary, guaranteeing perfect alignment of the market and sales potential for the different Business Lines. As part of its large scope of responsibilities, this function also serves as back-up for the local Managing Director**.**

**Main responsibilities**
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales targets within approved expenses budget for the portfolio.
- To ensure the sales force resources in terms of size and structure, are effectively deployed according to market conditions and geographically distributed to better support the achievement of sales objectives.
- Design the sales incentive plan and monitor its performance, implementing modifications when necessary.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including scientific leaders and institutional representatives, and others, which could influence for the benefit of the position.
- Ensure the right implementation of the Go to Market model established to increase our reach and engagement.
- Foster Innovation as way of creating a differentiated customer experience.
- Optimize business through commercial trade channel, developing innovative models to establish effective partnerships with pharmacies and wholesalers.
- As a leader of the marketing team develop the annual marketing plan, based on corporate guidelines, as well as global, regional, and local market requirements.
- Actively guide the execution of marketing plans, allocate and adjust, when necessary, both promotional and manpower resources to maximize sales profitability and efficiency of the Business Unit.
- Oversee and maintain the development, implementation, and control of marketing operations for each of the promoted products of the Business Unit
- Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative business approaches to ensure the business growth.
- Capture and implement business development opportunities, to leverage existing portfolio.
- As a leader of the marketing team, foster the Omnichannel approach, ensuring the integration of different channels and monitor the results.
- Drive digital transformation, boosting the right message to the right customer in the right channel.
- Continuously work in gross-to-net optimization
- To define, implement and follow up standards within marketing, sales, and support functions in the team and beyond (to foster coordination across areas)
- To ensure the integration of Marketing, Sales and support functions within the standards of the company in order to achieve business objectives and provide rapid response to market opportunities and threatens.
- As leader of the group, develop and coach the sales and marketing teams.
- Identify, support and develop the potential of employees at all levels in order to drive them to achieve excellence.

**Your profile**
- University Degree, with preferably an advanced degree (PhD, MBA)
- ~10 years experience in sales and marketing and managing customer relationships.
- 5+ years people management experience required.
- 3+ as part of Leadership Team
- Experience in therapeutic areas aligned with Organon’s portfolio.
- Digital capabilities, data analytics and insights
- Fluent English and Portuguese
