Operations Specialist Manager

Operations Specialist Manager will manage Safety Operations staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. The role will ensure that operational processes and department deliverables meet expected quality financial, productivity and utilization standards and targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and support the team to ensure project KPI’s are being met and support the team in resolving any client related issues.- Lead and support operational decisions in collaboration with senior management.- Contribute, drive and lead on global initiatives (e.g. Change management; Subject Matter Expert Committees; SOP Review Committees; Retention, Engagement).- Ensure direct reports are cross trained on Lifecycle Safety service offerings as needed.- Author, review and finalize certification process for all functional teams.- Identify training and development needs of staff in collaboration with Lifecycle Safety senior management.- Maintain open and regular communication with direct reports to ensure a supportive working environment.- Direct, lead and encourage direct reports in continuous improvement of department work processes, procedures and infrastructure.- Ensures financial project performance through oversight of key performance metrics (revenue, direct costs, time-sheet costs, utilization and realization).- Collaborate with other managers to address problem areas, departmental resources, work scheduling for current and projected projects, staffing needs, and projected peak workload.- Create and execute the End User training for Supplier.- Provide support in delivering client-focused solutions in line with IQVIA business models.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
- Up to 7 years of relevant experience, inclusive of up to 4 years of PV experience and up to 3 years of Line management experience
- In-depth knowledge of Safety service lines; willingness to increase knowledge across Safety service lines
- Proven Staff management skills, strong leadership, motivational and influencing skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent presentation, report writing skills and customer focus skills.
- Ability to achieve results through communication and facilitation in a matrix service delivery environment with shared accountabilities.
- Sound judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills.
