We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join us on a support project.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide Level 2/3 technical support to French-speaking users across various technologies, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to batch scheduling (Control-M), distributed web and client-server architectures, Oracle databases (SQL), and Unix and Windows scripting.
3. Effectively communicate technical information and solutions to both technical and non-technical users in French.
4. Proactively identify and resolve potential problems before they impact users.
5. Collaborate effectively with other technical teams and squads to resolve complex issues.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.
7. Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions in the appropriate ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred).
8. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
9. Adhere to IT service management best practices and company policies.
10. Leverage collaborative tools (Confluence, Office 365, including Teams) to share knowledge and work efficiently with colleagues.
11. Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Fluency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
2. Proven experience (3+ years preferred) providing technical support in a distributed environment.
3. Expertise in batch scheduling using Control-M.
4. Strong understanding of distributed web and client-server architectures.
5. Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases.
6. Proficiency in Unix and Windows scripting.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
11. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
12. Experience with ServiceNow (incident and change management) is highly desirable.
13. Experience with collaborative tools (Confluence, Office 365, Teams) is preferred.
