The role - Microsoft Web Administrator
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Web Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting web servers and web-based applications hosted on Microsoft technologies, including IIS (Internet Information Services), SharePoint, and related Microsoft web platforms. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft IIS web servers and SharePoint environments
- Ensure web application performance, security, and troubleshooting
- Implement backup and recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
- Manage SSL certificates, domain configurations, and web infrastructure.
- You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft IIS Services and load balancing concepts
- Proven experience in managing IIS web servers, SharePoint, and other related Microsoft web technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for web applications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, SharePoint Server, or IIS certifications are an advantage
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
