Position Overview
MPL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Administration Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing incoming invoices, bank statements, and supplier payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and process incoming invoices and bank statements
- Prepare and follow up on supplier payments on a daily and weekly basis
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up
- Participate in the factoring process
- Assist the finance manager with ad-hoc requirements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Applied Economic Sciences (master's or equivalent by experience)
- Several years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting, consolidation, financing structures, IFRS, and reporting in an international environment
- Familiarity with accounting and reporting software systems and Microsoft Office products
- A hands-on and committed personality with strong compliance and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
