Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments, managing bank debt, and maintaining cash flow. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Liquidity Management:
- Manages funding to ensure scheduled payments;
- Elaborates short-term cash flow forecasts;
- Manages intercompany loans in SAP;
- Manages cash pooling.
- Budget and Forecast:
- Elaborates payment files based on invoices posted in SAP;
- Analyzes vendor open items;
- Coordinates with other Logoplaste departments to solve pending issues;
- Liaises with suppliers over invoice queries.
- Treasury Postings:
- Performs accounting of bank statements and validated bank balances;
- Performs accounting of payments and receivables, debt, commissions, and interests;
- Performs accounting of intercompany bank transfers and respective interests and commissions;
- Performs month-end tasks, such as accruals, deferrals, and maturity adjustments.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Management, or Economics;
- 2-3 years of experience in an equivalent function;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Aptitude for process improvement, attention to detail, getting to the root cause of problems;
- Team spirit;
- Critical thinking.
