Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to lead our sales and business development activities in the territory of action. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Medical Business to develop innovative commercial plans aligned with our company strategy. Key responsibilities include selectively targeting and building relationships with industry leaders, managing customers, and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory approval pathway and IP issues, as well as the ability to develop complex analysis for product selection and feasibility phases. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selectively targets and builds relationships with industry leaders to negotiate and close licensing and supply deals
- Manages customers in the territory of action with regular business reviews and develops plans to increase sales and profitability
- Develops new business by investigating the market and working with business partners to identify new selling opportunities
- Aligns strategies with the future pipeline and completes business case proposals for new product development
- Communicates and maintains close contact with customers to identify developing problems and resolve conflicts
- Prepares and communicates a business plan to management
