As a Data Platform Product Manager, you will be part of this organization, contributing to its success by driving the vision and roadmap for data platform initiatives.

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Product Manager to define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management, data engineering, and data architecture principles, as well as strong product management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovations.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure appropriate implementation of new features and functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials.
  • Monitor product performance, gather usage metrics, and analyze data to ensure continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Represent the product internally and externally, communicating its value proposition and advocating for its adoption.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on data platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data management concepts, including data modeling, data integration, data governance, and data quality.
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and user stories.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, diverse environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Educational Background

We welcome candidates with a background in finance, investment management, or similar domains. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake, is also highly valued.

What We Offer

Nordea Asset Management offers a competitive salary package, estimated at €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
