About the Role

As a Portfolio Management Associate, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis and monitoring of diverse industry sectors.

You will research and track international leveraged loan and corporate bond portfolios, assessing both investment and non-investment grade positions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing waiver requests and addressing company inquiries promptly
  • Collaborating with the rating and credit departments to compile Portfolio Review presentations for both routine assessments and Impairment Committee deliberations
  • Supporting the Execution and Origination team members by contributing to the evaluation, recommendation, and execution of Principal Finance ventures
  • Undertaking additional tasks and ad hoc assignments as required
Ideal Profile

We are looking for a candidate with 1-4 years of experience in leveraged/corporate/acquisition finance or equivalent roles within investment or commercial banks.

Candidates with backgrounds in M&A, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting will also be considered.

A university degree from a prestigious academic institution and MBA are desired.

Fluency in English is mandatory.

Proficiency in financial and accounting principles is essential.

Demonstrated understanding of credit documentation and legal frameworks related to finance is required.

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong technical and analytical capabilities.

A self-motivated, positive attitude towards challenges is essential.

The ability to articulate and present factual information in a structured, clear, and confident manner is required.

Strong internal relationship-building skills across various departments such as ratings, credit, finance, legal, and operations are necessary.

The ability to positively influence others in a collaborative environment is crucial.

Comfortable working independently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards is essential.
