As a Business Analyst, you will be part of our +10.000 tech and business leaders on cloud, data, and cyber security. You will work closely with our team to design and implement business solutions that drive real change. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Acting as an IT point of contact for ad-hoc queries from the business across the systems maintained and supported by the P&L IT team.
- Analyzing business requirements, working with the business and end-users to understand their needs and processes.
- Designing the IT solution, writing user stories in Jira, and verifying understanding of the requirements with users.
- Working closely with IT developers to discuss development options, feasible functionality, and ensure that business requirements are understood.
- Defining, executing, and documenting the functional testing plan, including regression testing in coordination with the regression tester.
- Ensuring teams are aware of upcoming changes and escalating risks and issues appropriately.
- Acquiring and maintaining a good understanding of the Global Markets business, documenting on wiki pages.
- Performing user training and providing functional support when required.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of the Business Analyst methodology by sharing key skills, knowledge, and experience with other team members.
- Ensuring IT Security guidelines are on board.
Some of the key qualities we are looking for in a candidate include:
- Proven experience in Business Analysis.
- Strong communicator and interpersonal skills.
- Strong level of autonomy and proactivity.
- Proven experience in the Banking industry would be ideal.
- Ability to prepare specifications and write/execute functional testing.
- Ability to organize UAT and sign-off process.
- Ability to support IT applications.
- Familiar with Agile methods, particularly Scrum.
- Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.
- Knowledge of basic SQL syntax is a plus.
