The Role: The payroll team is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll operation for various countries, including the UK, Ireland, Malta, Portugal, Ceuta, India, and Spain. As a Payroll Specialist, you will work together with the payroll team to manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for Portugal.
Key Responsibilities: Your duties will include supporting the payroll team in administering the end-to-end payroll process using the system implemented by the Company. You will ensure accurate payments, reports, and returns are made to tax authorities and social security bodies. Additionally, you will assist in carrying out pay period and year-end processes, deal with employee inquiries, prepare information from the payroll for other business areas, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
