We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Portugal. This role will be responsible for planning and organizing deliveries with suppliers, logistics operators, and warehouses.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carriers, Incoterms, and warehouse operations. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize deliveries with suppliers, logistics operators, and warehouses
  • Comply with standards, internal procedures, and shipping regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth inventory flow and proper distribution across locations
  • Analyze stock control and distribution data to ensure accurate and timely replenishment
  • Replenish packaging as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics operations, including procedures with suppliers, warehouses, and shippers
  • Perform other logistics-related tasks to support the team and contribute to the company's success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of carriers, Incoterms, and warehouse operations
  • Proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with warehouse management software and e-commerce platforms like Shopify
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English

Salary Range: €40,000 - €55,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications
