Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Human Resources professional to provide administrative support to our HR department. As an Associate Human Resources at Amgen, you will be responsible for managing HR administrative tasks, onboarding new hires, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR administrative tasks such as contracts, amendments, and parental leave
- Serve as a liaison between the HR team, payroll, and HR Connect for HR operations and issues
- Administer contracts and handle the creation and payments to external vendors
- E nsure compliance with local labor laws by reviewing employment contracts and local policies
- Support the administration of payroll and benefits
- Communicate HR processes and benefits to each employee
- Keep employee files up to date
- Provide information for internal and external audits upon request
- Support the Payroll & Benefits specialist
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes
- Respond to daily employee inquiries with a service-oriented attitude
Requirements:
- English – Business fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management / similar and 1 year of experience in similar roles OR High school diploma / GED and 2 years of experience in similar roles
- Skilled in handling a wide range of HR administrative duties
- Experienced in processing and validating payroll accurately and efficiently
- Proficient in SAP for the control of invoices and payments
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Workday for HR management
- Strong skills in managing employee relations and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws is beneficial
- Experienced in coordinating with vendors and processing their invoices
