About the Role- Lead Advanced Strategic Development: Design and implement strategies that enhance global fleet operations, focusing on areas like capacity planning, real estate, customer experience, training, and processes or health & safety.
- Create standard operational procedures that are integral to central and local teams' training regarding their area of expertise.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational performance data using advanced techniques to uncover trends and insights that inform strategic decisions at the highest levels autonomously.
- Develop and optimize complex models that create the basis for decision-making and process execution.
- Design operational processes, policies, and procedures executed at regional and local levels, ensuring they meet company operational targets.
- Lead the creation and implementation of strategic projects, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery within scope and monitor performance to track adherence.
- Lead, train, and manage junior team members allocated to projects and initiatives, acting as a mentor and guide to less experienced analysts.
- Collaborate with Regional Teams: Work closely with regional directors and local teams to adapt and apply central strategies to specific regional contexts, ensuring successful implementation and execution.
- Holds a degree in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, or a similar field.
- 6-8 years of experience in a strategic consulting firm or a strategic role within the operations department of a company managing physical assets or having a direct-to-consumer business model.
- Specialist knowledge: In-depth knowledge of operational processes and operation organization methods and frameworks, with a proven track record of driving significant improvements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, develop insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Communication and Leadership skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively and influence decision-making at senior levels. Proven experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Collaborative Leadership: Strong ability to collaborate across multiple teams and regions, with a focus on ensuring that central strategies are effectively implemented and adapted to local contexts.
- Results-Oriented and ambitious: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering results that contribute to the company's operational success.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
