Role Overview

As a Corporate Tax Associate at Farfetch Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the group's compliance on corporate tax affairs and participate in tax advisory projects. The role is part of an innovative Group Tax Team that works closely with all areas of the business, providing exposure to international tax planning and coordinating the compliance process for the countries in which Farfetch operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze extensive amounts of data to support the completion of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns and relevant filings for the countries where Farfetch has a taxable presence.
  • Develop and assist with technical research supporting tax positions taken in tax filings, including drafting written memorandums for international tax technical matters.
  • Support/prepare work papers, schedules, calculations, and other items related to tax filings, estimated tax payments, and extension payments, including controlling all the deadlines and filings.
  • Providing necessary technical input for international tax questions raised by the business.
  • Assist with any tax inquiries from the tax authorities as well as from the business.
  • Support quarterly tax reporting process by helping with the computation of all corporate tax-related figures and reconciliations to accounting.
  • Prepare complex tax calculations to support business decisions.
  • Build tax KPI's files.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a similar subject, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a BIG4 or in-house environment. You should be fluent in English, both written and spoken, and possess analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should be able to deal with a fast-paced environment and have a results-driven mind-set.
