We are an international distributor of raw materials to various industries, seeking a skilled Account Manager with German language proficiency to expand our business in the European market.

Job Summary

This role involves developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients, primarily focusing on the German market. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing sales to existing customers and identifying new business prospects
  • Traveling regularly to visit clients on the German market (approximately 40% of working time)
  • Collaborating with the commercial and product manager to develop sales strategies based on market trends and developments
  • Preparing and sending quotations
  • Maintaining a close relationship with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring timely delivery of products

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid HBO-level education
  • A valid driver's license
  • Relevant sales experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Familiarity with German and Dutch languages
