Indie Campers is seeking a skilled Operations Specialist to join our West Europe regional team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing regional processes, managing local depots, and overseeing their respective teams. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive operational results in terms of fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
This position involves ownership of end-to-end processes that support the achievement of operational objectives, including real estate expansion projects, property management, health and safety standards, and procuring partners to complement our resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop expertise in local operational procedures and contribute to their evolution and adaptation to the region.
- Assist regional and local operation leadership in achieving operational results.
- Serve as the regional point of contact and maintain ongoing relationships with local partners and suppliers to ensure daily operations are executed according to defined standards.
- Execute regional stock replenishment procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Understand and contribute to the evolution of all real-estate standards, creating a physical reality that enables local operations to excel and comply with health and safety standards.
- Procure and negotiate suppliers when required.
- Lead the expansion of our network through real estate procurement and negotiation, and expand the current supplier network.
- Contribute significantly to achieving efficiency targets in the region.
- Background in Engineering, business, or similar education.
- Experience of 2+ years in procurement, ideally in the automotive industry, and/or in real estate.
- Prone to action, taking initiative to address operational needs and ensure smooth workflows.
- Organized and analytical, using data to drive actions and effectively managing time to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, following detailed procedures, and ensuring precision in execution.
- Team player, willing to work closely with team members and local teams to contribute to overall objectives.
- Adaptable and resilient, adapting to unforeseen events while reaching the end result.
- Good communicator, with clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in French or Spanish is highly desirable.
Estimated salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
