Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Benefits Project Manager to join our Integrated and Global Solutions (IGS) team at Willis Towers Watson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating local brokerage and consulting services in the area of medical and other insured benefit programs, as well as supporting more senior colleagues to provide consulting services around all employee benefits to the headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide data analytics, draft reports and presentations, update project trackers and work with Global Delivery Center (GDC) colleagues, as well as the local country consultants and brokers, to obtain status updates.
  • Manage clients' benefits data which includes working with the GDC to populate data and being responsible that data is accurate and updated on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate and project manage initial technology and implementation tasks upon project start up.
  • Effectively manage projects using established project management tracker and technology to deliver a successful project across all countries.
  • Support the use of Willis Towers Watson's proprietary technology including Benefits Insights, Benefits Data Source, BenVals and other tools to help clients to maximize the value from the information collected.
  • Coordinate and project manage multi-country projects such as: global benefit benchmarking exercises, cost savings projects and governance processes.
  • Help the global consulting lead to provide proactive advice around the opportunities to optimize the way benefits are managed globally (effective use of local resources, brokers, consultants, third party providers).
  • Work with the global consultant lead to deliver advice to multinational clients about the financing of their risk benefit programs, such as self-insurance, multinational risk benefits pooling and employee benefit captive work - for feasibility study, negotiation, selection, implementation and ongoing support.
  • Work with relevant parties (including local WTW teams and Correspondent Partners as necessary) to ensure local broker-of-record letters (or similar) and statements of work are in place.
  • Engage in dialogue with in-country consultants/brokers as needed, to ensure local issues are resolved.
  • Participate in regular (as necessary) calls both internally and with the client to communicate progress and resolve outstanding matters.
  • Review local broker reports and other communications to ensure consistency of style and message, as appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice or otherwise, to identify issues that clients should be addressing.
Requirements
  • University Degree
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in German and/or French
  • The ability to use Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Well organized and attention-to-detail with ability to prioritize conflicting work schedules
  • Hands on experience with employee benefits or insurance market (is a plus)
  • Interest in international benefits
  • Enjoys delivering complex solutions to internal and external Clients, while delivering proactively on time and on budget
  • Availability to travel as required
