**Job Overview:** As a Commercial Director at Gleeds, you will play a key role in leading cost and procurement management aspects of hyper-scale data centre projects. You will oversee financial and contractual elements to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Formulating and managing strategies to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensuring that projects are managed in accordance with Gleeds processes and procedures.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Delivering high-quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer's requirements.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Leading the commercial and cost management functions for hyper-scale data centre projects.
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned with project goals and client expectations.
  • Overseeing cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial control.
  • Conducting cost analysis and benchmarking to optimise project costs.
  • Managing contract negotiations and compliance to ensure all contractual obligations are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect project interests.

**Required Qualifications and Experience:**

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Sound cost management experience in large construction projects.
  • Experience in mission-critical projects.
  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of post-contract cost management tasks.
