Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned leader with expertise in cloud-native technologies to oversee the development and implementation of our platform as a service (PaaS) model. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading SRE/DevOps teams and promoting continuous improvement in system architecture, deployment, and operational processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/DevOps teams to ensure high levels of system and infrastructure reliability, resiliency, scalability, and automation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to transform our infrastructure and processes into a PaaS model, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
  • Promote continuous improvement in system architecture, deployment, and operational processes through automation and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies to ensure rapid detection and resolution of issues.
  • Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all aspects of infrastructure and operations.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve system reliability and efficiency.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a focus on SRE and DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of cloud and experience with cloud-native technologies.
    • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Solid knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.

 

Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per year
