Closer, a 100% Portuguese tech company established in 2006, is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join its team. The selected candidate will be based in Porto, Portugal.

About the Role

This full-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Application Support Engineer function. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving production incidents efficiently. Your duties will include following up on changes and coordinating technical operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking, and ensuring that documentation is up-to-date.

You will also be responsible for managing backup data, performing regular restoring tests, monitoring applications and infrastructure, controlling load capacity for applications, and contributing to the continuous automation and improvement of existing procedures.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with development teams to define the architecture of new applications, adhering to infrastructure standards.

We require strong English proficiency; French is an added advantage.
