Michael Page Portugal is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure correct and timely execution of key responsibilities according to the requirements of the Accounts Receivable.
- Collect payments from customers and process, track, and record payments in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Communicate discrepancies to management team, and identify slow-paying customers for escalation.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
- Comply with Group and Local financial requirements.
- Maintain processes documented and updated consistently.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process.
- Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics or related areas.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English (Mandatory).
- Ability to read, write and communicate in German, Hungarian and Polish (Preferred Qualifications).
- Strong mathematical skills (Preferred Qualifications).
- Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Prior experience in Financial Share Service Centers (preferential AR - Preferred Qualifications).
- Solid knowledge in accounting area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Solid knowledge in the use of SAP.
- Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Ability to keep company and partner confidences.
