Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our sales and product teams to provide technical support and solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide domain expertise around Sovos Compliance solutions, maintaining expert-level understanding of our products' functionality and technical architecture.
- Assist in client discovery processes to uncover challenges and desired solution architectures, reviewing discovery questionnaires to ensure customer landscape knowledge is documented.
- Develop a firm understanding of customer needs, pain points, and requirements, aligning Sovos Compliance solutions to fulfill needs and eliminate pain.
- Work closely with Sovos Compliance's sales teams to conduct sales and solutions presentations, collaborating with Professional Services and product functions for successful onboarding post-sale.
- Maintain and improve demonstration capabilities to present key features and benefits of Sovos Compliance solutions to customers.
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and clients.
- Act with integrity, demonstrating ethical behavior with all stakeholders, and take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning, focusing on process improvement and optimizing sales workflows for revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and lead training sessions within and outside the Sales Engineer department, serving as a subject matter expert for RFP and RFI responses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum 6 years of Sales Engineer experience or equivalent.
- Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes and manage day-to-day details and deadlines.
- Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize activities.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion.
- Self-motivated and strong drive to succeed.
- Solid knowledge of different communication protocols and delivery formats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Multiple language skills preferred.
- Moderate travel required for client meetings, trade shows, Sovos Compliance events, and special projects.
