**Job Overview**

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to join our Global Communications Team, based in Lisbon.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing our PR strategy in the UK market, driving media relations, press events, and creating compelling content that positions Zendesk as a leader in AI-powered Customer Experience (CX).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies that align with our global communications strategy, focusing on the UK market.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY UK MEDIA OUTLETS, JOURNALISTS, AND INFLUENCERS TO SECURE MEDIA COVERAGE IN TOP-TIER PUBLICATIONS.
  • Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that communicates our brand messages effectively.
  • Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
  • Collaborate with our social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
  • Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • A Native English speaker or business fluent.
  • Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry.
  • A proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in the UK.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
