About the Role
The PC&L Customer Specialist EU+AP is responsible for driving process improvements within Production Control and Logistics (PC&L) management, ensuring systems robustly support these processes, and ensuring all sites execute business processes within a given framework. This role focuses on keeping up to date with industry standards and innovations through benchmarking and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Drives the design and effectiveness of PC&L CUSTOMER processes at Plant, Regional, and Global levels
• Responsible for resolving process issues raised by teams and providing root cause analysis
• Monitors and audits proper execution of defined standard processes and escalates if any deviation
• Identifies areas for process improvement related to CUSTOMER business processes inside PC&L scope
• Develops and rolls out new or changed business processes, creates training material, provides Key User and End User training, and leads routine meetings with the plant Key User community
• Contributes to the PC&L Global Process Framework roadmap, seeking simplification and standardization of the landscape
• Serves as the PC&L CUSTOMER ERP system (SAP) expert, keeping up to date with developments in the SAP space and continually upgrading functional knowledge
• Participates in global or regional special projects as a main team member
• Supports the execution of main transformation projects, in line with leadership prioritization, functional, and business responsibility/scope
• Drives the PC&L CUSTOMER Key User community, together with the PC&L CUSTOMER BPE
• Ensures perfect Customer Order Management according to defined business process, across all Plants
• Serves as a central point of contact for ASUX Plants for Customer Process and System related topics
• Is a key person for main processes and organization of Customers
• Supports ASUX Plant training needs for Customer facing roles, to reach defined Standard
• Collaborates and supports activities needed to achieve key performance indicators (for instance, OTTR, VOC)
• Drives on-time and clean customer master data maintenance in SAP, under PC&L COPs responsibility
• Supports the current Organizational Transformation as required
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in International Relations, Logistics, Business Management, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant area
Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes (with preference for CUSTOMER related ones)
3+ years of significant experience in a Business Process Role related to Customer and/or Order to Cash area
Advanced knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module and of SAP CUSTOMER processes, and relevant experience as a professional SAP user in a challenging environment
Good knowledge of the English language
Analytical mindset, strongly process driven, and used to view performance through 'process and people' angle
Good working knowledge of MS office and integration with other systems
Experience in a challenging automotive environment
Skills and/or experience as a leader & people manager in a global team environment
