Role Overview: The ServiceNow Developer is a crucial member of our Phiture team, responsible for designing, developing, and administering our IT Service Management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex system configurations, custom features, and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design and develop configurations and customizations on the ServiceNow platform, adhering to configuration management principles.
  • Manage Form & Field dictionaries, including new field additions, modifications of existing fields, and form/view layout changes.
  • Create, modify, and validate ACL definitions, schedules, and respective workflows.
  • Develop advanced transform map scripts for seamless data transfer into ServiceNow.
  • Create or modify Service Catalog and workflow, as well as manage application and forms linking & visibility.
  • Develop various client-side objects, including client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, UI scripts, email scripts, and server-side objects like Business rules, Script includes, Workflow scripts, Schedule, notifications, dashboards, reports.
  • Perform advanced debugging to resolve script-related issues.
  • Contribute to custom application development and enhancement, ensuring a high level of expertise in application development, software development life cycle (SDLC)/SCRUM, Agile, and an in-depth understanding of Cloud stack, specifically ServiceNow.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Development in ITSM tools, including ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in application development, software development life cycle (SDLC)/SCRUM, Agile, and an in-depth understanding of Cloud stack, specifically ServiceNow.
  • Client-side programming/front-end development will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide Scripting, XHTML, Workflow and UI development, OOPs and Database Concepts, ServiceNow ITSM Application and Service Portal Concepts.

Certifications: ServiceNow Application Developer, ITIL Foundation.
