Fleet Management Role Overview
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our colleagues who are eligible for company cars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company car contracts with external suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to colleagues' inquiries.
- Coordinate with leasing companies to process car orders in line with company policy.
- Ensure the provision of company cars to new hires, including arranging delivery in time for their job start.
- Maintain accurate records and files, providing data reports and auditing the quality of the data.
- Ensure correct taxation of company cars, providing accurate data to the Payroll team.
- Provide education and advice to colleagues with company cars, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Support the full lifecycle of each company car allocation, including obtaining drivers' licenses, sourcing vehicles, arranging delivery, and responding to maintenance and repair needs.
- Review and approve company car-related invoices, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and local legislation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with car fleet management, car rentals, car sales, or other administrative vehicle management work.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (business level).
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy, proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Professional, approachable, and confident in saying no when needed.
- Proven ability to interact successfully with varying levels inside and outside the organization.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
