**Job Purpose**

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Business Development Specialist to join our Business Assurance Business Unit. This role will play a crucial part in driving business growth through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong network of contacts, and a proven track record in sales or business development.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Following up on assigned leads within agreed timescales to maximise each sales opportunity;
  • Engaging in weekly outbound prospecting activities, representing Lrqa in a highly professional manner;
  • Developing self-generated leads to enable a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets;
  • Managing their own pipeline to ensure sufficient active opportunities to meet sales targets, including taking necessary action to correct any shortfalls in a timely manner;
  • Maintaining comprehensive records on our CRM system, including all follow-up actions and tasks in line with agreed global sales processes;
  • Ensuring awareness of marketing activities to follow up on local campaigns and other marketing initiatives;
  • Remaining competent in producing accurate proposals in line with product requirements through refresher training and completion of development activities.

**Estimated Salary**: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
