The Role

We are seeking a skilled Polish LQA Tester to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a Polish LQA Tester, you will be the first person to see the localized game in its entirety, translated text, images, and user interface collectively. You will work in a multilingual project team ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and ultimately accurately localized into the target language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global project team.
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Polish and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
  • Be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in Portugal.

Working Conditions:

  • 100% remote work.
  • You will be required to work minimum 4 hours between 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays (Portugal Time Zone).
