About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Swedish LQA - Game Tester for a full-time, part-time, or freelance basis. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images, and the rest of the user interface collectively. You'll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and mobile and tablet devices. As a LQA Game Tester, you would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
What We Offer:
- €15, gross annual salary (Full Time). Part-time and freelance rates are pro-rata based on the hourly rate.
- €6 per working day in meal allowance (For full-time and pro-rate for part-time employees).

Working Conditions:
- On-Site in our Studio in Braga, Portugal.
- 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays.
- For part-time and freelance, you will be required to work minimum 4 hours between 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays (Portugal Time Zone).
Remote Work:
Only Freelancers are allowed to work remotely. Full-time and part-time employment contract are required to work on-site in Braga, Portugal.-
