About the Role
We are seeking a skilled German Lqa Tester to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our localized games. You will work closely with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may impact the gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a global project team to ensure the accuracy and quality of our localized games.
• Identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may impact the gaming experience.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
Requirements:
• Fluency in German and English.
• No experience required; we will provide the necessary training and support.
• Strong cultural understanding of the German language and culture.
• Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
• Robust Internet research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
