About the Role

The Pricing Director will determine the pricing strategy for Unit4's products and services. This role requires close collaboration with the Product team to align pricing strategies with product features and customer needs. The successful candidate will also work closely with sales teams to implement pricing strategies, drive revenue targets, and growth while ensuring customers understand our value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive pricing strategy for Unit4's core offerings, considering market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop creative monetization strategies and drive revenue growth aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive pricing recommendations through customer segmentation and Return-On-Investment analysis.
  • In collaboration with the Product team, define pricing on upcoming software service offerings.
  • Define pricing for support and onboarding services in collaboration with Customer Success.
  • Serve as a bridge between the Product team and Customer Success/Sales to obtain and share customer feedback on product/feature requirements and pricing concerns.
  • Obtain and share market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights with the product team to build an understanding of the market and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Sales to build an understanding of pricing and customer feedback.
  • Provide training and resources to sales to understand pricing structure, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  • Involve appropriate teams in pricing decisions to gain buy-in and insights.
  • Create pricing guides to help sales teams articulate the value proposition and address customer concerns.
  • Oversee operational aspects of pricing implementation, including billing requirements, discounting frameworks, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments and optimizations.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities for evolving pricing.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and career development opportunities.
