We offer a comprehensive range of road trip possibilities, including short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and vehicle sales. Our challenges are exciting and demanding, requiring top talent and motivation to pursue successfully.
The RoleAs a Regional Fleet Manager for our UK, Ireland & Nordics operations team, you will focus on executing regional processes and managing local depots and teams. Your primary objective is to drive operational results in fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
You will own the execution of end-to-end processes related to these objectives, spanning vehicle management, supplier procurement, stock management, logistics, and contact with local operations. This ensures high-quality fleets are serviced to customers while following established procedures.
This role reports directly to the UK, Ireland & Nordics Regional Operations Director. You will coordinate actions with your team members and local operations, impacting results directly.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the evolution of asset-management-related procedures designed by central teams and adapt them to your region.
- Maximise fleet availability through efficient vehicle in-fleeting, intervention management, and de-fleeting procedures.
- Guarantee that local structures are stocked with required inventory according to established models, purchasing spare parts as needed.
- Stay knowledgeable about operated vehicles and assist local operations in interventions required in vehicles within your region.
- Coordinate actions between local teams and logistics companies to move the fleet according to business requirements.
- Develop the fleet network by procuring, negotiating, and managing relationships with workshops and fleet partners.
- Major contributor and responsible for vehicle operating costs in your region.
- Help coordinate priorities of junior colleagues, guiding and training them.
- Contribute to expansion projects in your region.
- Background in Engineering, mechanical education, business management, or similar education.
- 3+ years of experience in an operational context involving fleet management, supplier management, logistics, and supply chain.
- Prone to action, taking initiative to address operational needs and ensure smooth workflows.
- Organised and analytical, looking at data to drive actions and effectively manage time handling multiple tasks.
- Team Player, willing to work closely with team members and local teams contributing to overall objectives.
- Adaptable and resilient, adapting to unforeseen events to reach the end result.
- Good Communicator, clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
