Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to join our team at SheCodes. As a strategic thinker and operational leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting our CEO, driving strategic initiatives, streamlining internal processes, and fostering team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO to drive key strategic projects and operational decisions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other team members, ensuring clear communication and follow-through on projects.
  • Lead and manage special projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
  • Optimize internal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scale, implementing best practices for team collaboration.
  • Conduct research and gather insights to support strategic planning, performance improvement, and growth initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting agendas for leadership and team meetings.
  • Facilitate regular progress meetings, track project milestones, and resolve bottlenecks across various departments.
  • Assist with HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, and team development.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture within the team, promoting a shared vision of SheCodes' mission.
  • Support in financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Chief of Staff role, project management, operations, or similar strategic leadership role.
  • Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and proactively address challenges.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in preparing presentations, reports, and strategy documents.
  • Comfortable working with distributed and remote teams across different time zones.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
