Job Title: Vendor Manager

Amadeus Airport and Airline Operations (AAO) is seeking a skilled Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple categories, managing and improving the existing supplier performance across our product portfolio, and seeking new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective partnership strategies to support strategic business deliverables.
  • Maintain successful relationships with key partners and negotiate agreements and contracts.
  • Guide procurement bidding processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations across different departments.
  • Identify savings and cost avoidance opportunities such as volume and vendor consolidation opportunities, and leading purchasing/contracting practices.
  • Engage in cooperative negotiation with suppliers and openly share information and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a procurement role within a sizable organization.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to gather information independently and high level of proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
