**Job Type**: Full-Time, may require flexible hours including weekends and holidays Position SummaryThe Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the playcentre, bar, and restaurant, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests while maximizing profitability and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and hygiene across all departments. Key Responsibilities
- **Operational Management**: Oversee the day-to-day running of both the play area and the food and beverage (F&B) operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
- **Customer Service**: Lead by example to ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered, handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, and build strong customer relationships.
- **Health and Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety practices (HACCP) and licensing laws for the bar.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identify potential risks, update risk assessments, and ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- **Staff Leadership & Management**:

- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all staff members, including play assistants and F&B teams.
- Create and manage staff rotas and schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak times and events, and process payroll information accurately.
- Motivate, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for the team, fostering a positive working environment.
- **Food & Beverage Management**:

- Work with the culinary team (if applicable) to plan and update menus, control food and liquor inventory, and negotiate with suppliers to manage costs and ensure quality.
- Monitor F&B operations to ensure consistent quality of products and service and maximize sales potential.
- **Financial Management**:

- Manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, oversee cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems operations, and prepare financial reports for senior management.
- Implement strategies to drive business growth, such as planning and executing events, parties, and promotions.
- **Maintenance & Security**: Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs, oversee cleaning schedules, and act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing procedures and the overall security of the venue.

Qualifications & Skills
- **Experience**: Proven management experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a leisure, hospitality, or F&B environment, with experience in a supervisory role being essential.
- **Leadership**: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- **Knowledge**: Sound knowledge of relevant health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including food safety and child protection standards. A personal license to authorise alcohol sales may be required.
- **Business Acumen**: Experience with budgeting, inventory management, cost control, and using computer software/POS systems.

Pay: 1,500.00€ - 3,000.00€ per month
