Reward Manager

Job Objective
This is a global role, reporting to the Global Reward Senior Director, as part of the reward centre of excellence (CoE). The role will contribute to the delivery of the global total reward strategy and roadmap by ensuring reward policies, frameworks and associated processes are established and embedded.
The role will also act as reward partner to specific BU’s, enabling HR and Managers across all aspects of reward.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
% Time
- Provide advice across all aspects of reward, with supporting analysis and recommendations that reflect an understanding of business/HR/reward challenges.
- Support the development and maintenance of global reward policy, process, tools, and guidance in conjunction with Business Process Excellence team as required.
- Manage, coordinate, and administer annual reward cycle activities e.g., annual salary review, bonus, salary survey submission, pay equity reporting etc.
- Lead on all aspects of partner compensation analysis (c. 700 partners, including Executive Committee), ensuring a cohesive approach across multiple functions and regions including job levelling, compensation benchmarking, communication and engagement materials and distribution.
- Support Partner Share Plan annual activities and Investment Cycle liquidity events, ensuring collaboration across functional owners to deliver effective share offer and liquidity processes.
- Actively contribute to global reward objectives and plans as part of a global team.
- Assist with ExCom and RemCo preparation, including analysis, pre-meeting document preparation associated with executive reward.
- Support global reward projects, and lead specific global projects as determined.
Influence And Decision Making Authority
The role holder will have autonomy within existing policies and procedures and the ability to recommend new or improved policies and procedures, which will require the ability influence peers, and wider stakeholders, to reach a final decision.
Job Requirements & Capabilities
Qualifications:
A relevant reward or HR qualification and / or significant work experience.
Job specific capabilities/skills:
- HRIS (preferably Workday), basic and advanced compensation experience
- Advanced excel skills.
- Experience in compensation/total rewards, including cyclical activities.
- Change management and communication, with the ability to translate complex messages to employees.
- Executive compensation and governance in a global context
- Job architecture and job evaluation skills (preferably WTW)
- Ability to lead and co-ordinate project delivery across multiple regions and functions.
- Awareness of the global reward landscape across governance, transparency, and reporting
- Strong written & verbal communication, analytical and critical thinking skills, and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team and confident interacting with all levels of management.
- Experience in creating, developing, maintaining SharePoint.
- Knowledge of equity/stock plans in a private equity business is desirable.
- Ability to contribute to, develop and refine global reward frameworks.
