Let’s make it happen** **About the Role** This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Accounting team. You'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of our group financials while **mentoring** a dynamic and collaborative team of General Ledgers, working closely with our Director of Accounting. You'll have the chance to influence strategy and enhance processes in a multicultural environment. Positioned at the core of our Finance Team, you'll directly impact Emma's growth. **Please note**: This role will be based in our **Frankfurt Headquarters**, and it's a great opportunity if you are looking for an experience abroad or relocating to a new city. **What you´ll do**: - Lead and oversee the group's financial accounting to ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS. - Manage and coordinate the consolidation of financial statements for 25+ entities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. - Mentor and lead a team of accountants, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement (Team of 6 in Frankfurt + more in our other offices). - Work closely with other finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. - Develop, implement, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies. - Streamline accounting processes and systems, optimizing the use of our ERP. - Coordinate audit schedules, liaise with external auditors, and assist with tax and regulatory compliance. - Drive data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc financial analyses and projects (in cooperation with our Controlling team) - Be a proactive member of our entrepreneurial culture by sharing your financial leadership and problem-solving skills. **Who we´re looking for**: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in group accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. - A sound knowledge base of IFRS. - Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of developing teams. - A strategic mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - A team player with a "can-do" attitude, embracing our "one team, one dream" philosophy. - Proficiency in MS Business Central is a plus. - A master's degree or CPA is a plus. - Fluency in German is a plus. **What we offer**: - Discounts on our top-notch products for you, your friends and family; - Pet-friendly environment; - The opportunity to collaborate with multinational teams; - Learning budget; - All the tools you need to grow and ownership from the beginning; - Responsibility and decision-making authority from day one—you'll create an impact with new, innovative ideas and help shape our company DNA; - Exciting events that aren't just team-building exercises but opportunities to create great memories. **Become an Emmie** Emma is transforming the world of sleep - **and we want the highest-performing people to help us pull it off.**We want you.
